We are now offering a rare opportunity for permanent, full-time positions as embryologists at our fertility clinics in Bergen and Stavanger.

To be considered for the role, you should:
- Have at least two years of hands-on experience in an IVF laboratory.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and familiarity with the latest advancements in clinical embryology.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Be a true team player, who values cooperation, mutual support, and shared professional goals, across different roles and clinics.
A willingness to learn Norwegian – relevant language skills are considered positive (e.g. understanding Scandinavian language).

Our clinics are equipped with advanced systems including IDEAS EMR, RI Witness, Britannia Monitoring Systems, and Time-lapse incubators – ensuring high-quality care for our patients.
We offer all types of fertility treatments permitted by Norwegian law, and operate our own sperm and egg bank, recruiting donors internally. We are also proud participants in a variety of clinical studies.
Both clinics are centrally located in Bergen and Stavanger, with excellent access to public transportation and local amenities.
Key areas of responsibility
Clinical embryology and andrology assignments, including:
- sperm analysis and preparation,
- identification and selection of eggs during egg retrieval
- IVF insemination and ICSI
- cultivation and evaluation of embryos,
- selection of embryos for transfer
- freezing and thawing of eggs, embryos, and sperm.
Operation of the laboratory and quality work, including:
- laboratory operations, purchases and maintenance
- making registrations in the clinic's ERM system (IDEAS)
- reporting KPIs to the lab manager and clinic corporate management
Patient communication, including:
- updating patients on embryo development
- communicating with them about other aspects of treatment as needed
Qualifications and experience
- bachelor's or master's degree in bioscience
- 2 or more years of practical experience in clinical embryology working independently and using all relevant procedures
- experience with operations and quality work in an IVF lab (preferable but not an absolute requirement)
